She grew up all over the world as the daughter of a US Air Force fighter pilot, but she has called Utah home for the past thirty years. She graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in English and a minor in music. She has worked as a teacher, editor, author, and event planner while raising five children.
