Stage Set for Villains is a sharp, genre-bending contemporary fantasy that treats superheroics like a Broadway production. The story follows a crew of "professional" villains who aren't interested in world domination—they’re just trying to get through the night without getting vaporized by the city's self-righteous, corporate-sponsored heroes.

When a "scripted" bank heist goes off-book and a top-tier hero ends up dead, the villains find themselves framed for a conspiracy that goes all the way to the Mayor’s office. To clear their names, they must lean into their roles, stage the ultimate final act, and prove that sometimes, the bad guys are the only ones playing fair.
